Logic is the study and assessment of the validity of arguments. As such it occupies a central role in the practice of philosophy and in its history. In the course "Introduction to Logic" the students will be presented with the basic concepts of the field, and learn how to logically analyze sentences and arguments in natural language using formal languages.
