Course description
Constitutive laws for biological tissues from theoretical and practical aspects. Small deformation elasticity using indicial notation, large deformation mechanics and strain energy density functions, viscoelastic behavior, measurement of constitutive properties of biological tissues. Introduction to neuro-musculoskeletal mechanics at the continuum and cell scales.
