What is a product? Product development processes and their properties. Mathematical and logical foundation: graph theory, optimization, object oriented analysis. Quality function deployment, conceptual design, selection among alternatives (Pugh, QFD, and AHP). System and process modeling. System analysis with DSM. User interface design. Advanced topics (knowledge management, computer-aided design).
