Introduction to major cutting machines, cutting tools and measuring equipment. Individual work: fabrication of a vise, including
round grinding and flat grinding, inside and outside thread, drilling and milling. Assembling of a vise including precision control.
Principles of CNC programming (G commands in accordance with ISO standards).
Safety rules, employing CNS machines for milling and grinding, tool offset, automatic replacement of tools, loading of programs. Employing the NCTOOL CAD program for defining technological parameters of manufacturing, completing the tools table, simulation, carrying out G commands, establishing the connection between a CAD computer and CNC machine.
