Course description
Gamma and Beta functions, Bessel functions (of all types including spherical), asymptotic methods, the WKB method, calculus of variations (including Noether's theorem), Groups and Group Representations, and if there is time, more examples of special functions: Hermite, Laguerre, and Hypergeometric.
