This workshop is dedicated to independent research in literature, and to working towards its public presentation. It is designed for outstanding undergraduates in an advanced stage.

The workshop will contain two parallel processes: each student will perform a research project on the scope of an academic paper, in a guided and mentored process with constant peer review. The workshop meetings, at the same time, will be dedicated to introduction with techniques in rhetoric and argumentation and to actively practicing public presentation. During the workshop we will understand how to construct a persuasive argument and deliver it in an effective talk, how to deliver complex materials clearly and eloquently, how to use body and voice, and how to handle mental inhibitions.

The course will end in an academic conference that will present the workshop’s products.
