This course utilizes various theories of Performance to analyze Jewish Rituals. It uses the ritual of the Day of Atonement as a test case, studying various enactments, rewritings and manifestations of this ritual. The course in joint to Jewish Philosophy and Theater, and it taught by teachers from both disciplines.
