This two semester seminar is designed for a small and selective group of students who are interested in advanced research of Israeli Hebrew and desire to gain research experience. The seminar is based on individual work under close supervision of the lecturer and only two group meetings each semester will take place. Each student will choose a research topic and submit a research proposal. The research itself will take place in the first semester. In the second semester, the student will draft and polish his or her article. This article may also be submitted as a seminar paper.

Acceptance to this course is selective and is dependent upon the lecturer's approval after an interview. Students who desire to register for this course are encouraged email the lecturer to schedule an interview.

 Course requirements: submission of a progress report every 2 weeks according to the research plan, a final academic article.
