הקורס יתקיים ב"פסט-פקטורי", מרכז לאמנות בקהילה ובמרחב הציבורי בבת-ים, כמעבדה, לצד הפרויקט הקהילתי המעשי. הקורס יסקור את התפתחות השימושים והיישומים החברתיים השונים בתיאטרון ובמדיה אמנותיים נוספים. הסמינר יתפקד כמעבדה לבחינה תיאורטית של פרויקטים אמנותיים-אקטיביסטים מקומיים בפרויקט הקהילתי שיתקיים בשטח, תוך התמקדות בשיתוף הפעולה בין הסטודנטים/ות לבין אמני/ות הפסט-פקטורי ושיטות היצירה והפעולה הניתנות לביצוע עם, בתוך ולמען קהילה/ות ובמרחב הציבורי, במטרה ליצור שינוי חברתי.

לאורך הקורס תיבחנה תיאוריות העומדות בבסיס סוגות אמנותיות ותיאטרוניות שונות המוגדרות כארטיביזם – פרקטיקה רב ובין תחומית המתפתחת בשנים האחרונות המציעה שילובים שונים של אמנות ואקטיביזם לשינוי חברתי. הסמינר יתמקד בתופעות השונות והמגוונות הקיימות בשדה הארטיביזם, ובראשן התיאטרון החברתי-קהילתי-אקטיביסטי. שיתוף פעולה עיוני, מחקרי ויישומי עם אמני/ות ה"פסט-פקטורי" יהווה חלק מהתהליך יצירה ומחקר של קהילה ארטיביסטית בבת-ים. 

Course/Seminar Description:

The course will meet at the "Fest-Factory", a center for public and community art in the City of Bat Yam, as a lab operating alongside the practical community project. The course will cover the development of the different social uses and applications of theatre, performance, and other artistic mediums. The seminar will function as a lab for the theoretical examination of local artistic and activist initiatives in the community project that will be conducted in the field simultaneously, with a focus on cooperation between students and the artists-residents of the "Fest-Factory", and the methods of creation and action that can be implemented with, within, and for the community and the public sphere, in order to bring about social change.

Throughout the course, the theories at the base of different types of art and theatre defined as Artivism will be examined. Artivism is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary practice that has developed in recent years and offers different combinations of art and activism to facilitate social change. The seminar will focus on the different and varied phenomena in the field of Artivism, starting with social-community-activist theatre.  Theoretical, research, and practical cooperation with the artists of the "Fest-Factory" will be part of the creative and research process regarding the Artivist community in Bat Yam.

במסגרת הסמינר ייחשפו המשתתפים/ות לגישות מחקריות שונות בארטיביזם, בהן חקר התאטרון האקטיביסטי-טיפולי ושיטות מופע שונות (Performance): הגדרות התאטרון הפוליטי, ראשית התאטרון הפוליטי, אידיאולוגיה ותאטרון, המופע הפוליטי, המופע הבינתחומי, פוליטיקת זהויות בתאטרון ובמופע, מאפייני המשחק, סוגי המשחק, תיאוריות משחקיות, אספקטים חברתיים-פוליטיים, פסיכולוגים, אנתרופולוגיים של מופע, ריטואלים, טקסים ועוד.
