תיאור הקורס

קורס מעשי - עבודה על סצינות מתוך מחזותיו של ברטולט ברכט. בסמסטר הראשון יעבדו כל הסטודנטים על סצינה נתונה אחת מתוך מחזה של ברכט. אורך הסצינה הוא 5-10 דקות, והיא מאפשרת ליהוק של 3 שחקנים (או 5, בהתאם לפרשנות האישית של כל סטודנט).

כל סטודנט יידרש להציג בתחילת הסמסטר תפיסה דרמטורגית, אישית ומנומקת, של הסצינה, לא כחלק מהמחזה השלם, אלא כאירוע תיאטרלי העומד בפני עצמו. הדגש בעבודה הוא למצוא מגוון רחב ככל האפשר של פרשנויות ותפיסות לטקסט נתון - כל במאי לשיטתו. בהמשך הסמסטר יידרשו הסטודנטים להגיש את הסצינה המבויימת, כולל מרכיבים עיצוביים (חלל, תלבושות, תאורה וסאונד). בכל שיעור יוצגו שתיים-שלוש סצינות. לאחר הצגת הסצינה, יקבל כל סטודנט משוב על העבודה, מהקבוצה ומהמנחה. במידת הצורך, תיתכן גם עבודה על הסצינה במהלך השיעור עצמו. לאחר המשוב בשיעור, ימשיך כל סטודנט בעבודה עצמאית על הסצינה, ויציג אותה בשיעורים נוספים במהלך הסמסטר. לאורך הסמסטר תיבדק ההלימה בין הקונספט הראשוני, לבין התוצאה הבימתית, מתוך הבנה כי תהליך היצירה הוא תהליך דינמי ומתפתח.

בסמסטר השני יתבקש כל סטודנט לבחור מחזה אחד מאת ברכט, ולהציג קונספט של הפקה מלאה של אותו מחזה. בהמשך, יבחר כל סטודנט סצינה ייצוגית מתוך המחזה המלא, ויביים אותה בהתאם לקונספט שהציג. המשך תהליך העבודה, בכיתה ובין השיעורים, יהיה זהה לתהליך בסמסטר הראשון. בסיום הסמסטר יוגשו הסצינות בפרזנטציה למורי הקורס.

Practical course, focusing on scenes from Bertolt Brecht's plays. At the first term, all the students will direct the same  given scene from a play by Brecht. The of the scene is 5-10 minutes long, and it's possible to presented with a cast of castings of 3 actors (and up to 5, depending on the interpretation of each student).

At the beginning of the semester, each student will be required to present a concept of the scene, not as part of the whole play, but as a theatrical event to itself. The aim is, therefore, to acheive a wide range of interpretations and perceptions, for a given text - as varied as the number of the participants. During the following classes, each student will be required to submit the fully staged version of the scene, including scenic elements (set, costumes, lighting and sound). Up to three scenes will be presented in one lesson. After the presntation of the scene, the students will hear feedbacks the from both their colleagues and the teacher. Sometimes, when suitable, the student will be asked to do some work with the actors during class.

 In between lessons the students will continue their work with the actors, and present the scene again, in one of the following lessons.. During this process of working and re-working, the class will discuss the difference or resemblance of the actual scene, to the initial concept, annalizing the director's work as a dynamic and evolving process.

In the second term, each student will be asked to choose a play from a given list of plays by Brecht's, and present their concept of a full production of the play. Each student will choose a representative scene from the full play, and direct it according to the concept presented. The rest of the work process, in the classroom and between classes, will be identical to the work during the first term. At the end of the term, the scenes will be presented to the teaching staff.

דרישות הקורס

נוכחות בשיעור, פיתוח קונספט תיאורטי, בימוי הסצינה עם שחקנים ועיצוב ויזואלי (שלא במסגרת השיעור עצמו), והגשת שתי סצינות מבויימות במהלך שני הסמסטרים.

מרכיבי הציון הסופי

מורכבות, חשיבה ומקוריות, 70%, השתתפות בשיעור והגשות 10%, פרזנטציה סופית 20%.

נושאי הקורס

פיתוח והצגת קונספט לסצינה ולמחזה שלם. דימוי תיאטרלי ושפה אישית. הדיאלוג שבין צורה לתוכן, ובין אמירה אישית לבין תקשורת עם קהל. הבימוי כתהליך של בדיקה, ניסוי וטעיה.
