סילבוס מקוצר
הקורס נועד להפגיש את התלמידים עם מעצבי מדיניות בכירים (בעבר ובהווה) בתחומים שונים בחיי המדינה. הפגישות יוקדשו להרצאות תיאורטיות לחקר מדיניות ומדינאות ובעיקר להרצאות אורח מפיהם של אישים בעלי ניסיון מעשי בקביעת מדיניות ברמה הלאומית (כולל פוליטיקאים, פקידים בכירים ואנשי ביטחון), שממלאים/מילאו תפקידים מרכזיים בשטח הצבאי והמודיעיני, במשק ובכלכלה, במשפט, בנושאי חברה וחינוך, מנהל ציבורי, ומדיניות החוץ והדיפלומטיה. בכל שנה עוסקות ההרצאות בהיבטים שונים של נושא מרכזי כלשהו בחיי המדינה.Course description
The aim of this course is to provide political science students with a set of conceptual frameworks for analyzing the political environment of public policy and policy making process, and to practice forming effective strategies for policy analysis, program evaluation, policy design, and advocacy. The primary focus of this course is the experiences students have with our guest speakers from all areas of policy making. The speakers will been chosen for the diversity of their political expertise - from government and governmental institutions to lobbies and NGOs. Classes with the guest speakers, and their public lectures, form the backbone of this course. Attendance at these lectures is mandatory.
