D:\Inetpub\shared\yedion\syllabus\06\2016\0680\0680311601_desc.txt סילבוס מקוצר בחלקו הראשון של הקורס נבחן את התיאוריה המהפכנית של זיגמונד פרויד על המיניות ועל הלא-מודע, נדון בתפיסות המגדר הגלויות והסמויות שמתגלות בה ונאיר את האופן שבו יצירות ספרות מספקות לפרויד מושגים ורעיונות על הנפש האנושית. נתוודע גם לתפיסות פסיכואנליטיות לא פרוידיאניות של מגדר ומיניות בהגותם של קרן הורני, ג'ואן ריוויר, מלאני קליין, דונלד ויניקוט, ז'אק לקאן, ז'וליה קריסטבה, ג'ולייט מיטשל וג'סיקה בנג'מין, ונדון במתחים ובהתנגשויות ההיסטוריים בין המחשבה הפסיכואנליטית לבין השיח הפמיניסטי. חלקו השני של הקורס יוקדש להיכרות עם מתודות פרשניות שנוצרו על בסיס הניסיון לשלב בין המחשבה הפסיכואנליטית והפמיניסטית. נעלה את השאלה מהי קריאה פסיכואנליטית ופמיניסטית בספרות, נבחן את התשובות שהציעו לכך שושנה פלמן, ז'קלין רוז, לוס איריגריי ואלן סיקסו ונלווה את הדיון בקריאה מדגימה בשירים, בסיפורים קצרים ובהתרחשויות תרבותיות עכשוויות. חובת קריאה שוטפת במהלך הקורס. חובת נוכחות Course description In the opening part of the course we will examine Sigmund Freud’s revolutionary theory of sexuality and the unconscious, and discuss its overt and covert concepts of gender. Later on, we will acquaint ourselves with post-Freudian theories and concepts of sexuality and gender such as Karen Horney’s subversive theory of “penis envy”, Melanie Klein’s concept of “pre-oedipal” developmental phase, and Jessica Benjamin’s reconstruction of the oedipal complex. We will also address the intellectual roots common to psychoanalysis and feminism, and present the loci of disagreement and friction between the two fields of discourse that developed out of these theories. In the second part of the course we will become familiar with various methods of interpretation based on the intersection between psychoanalytic theory and feminist discourse, as developed by scholars such as Shoshana Felman, Jacqueline Rose, Luce Irigaray and Helene Cixous.
