Course description
David Ben-Gurion: The Leader and the People
David Ben-Gurion was the most important political figure in the history of the Jewish Yishuv and the State of Israel. The course will deal with his political career, his views concerning political and security issues, his conflicts with various leaders, his controversies on the construction of Israeli statehood (mamlakhtiyut) and his leadership patterns.
Course duties: Participation, reading the syllabus, exam.
