What is "justice"? Does "justice" always mean "equality"? And how are these terms being manifested in everyday social reality? In this course we will review classical and contemporary philosophical and sociological concepts of social justice and equality. We will examine different perceptions of just distribution and allocation of resources, and examine them in the light of social conflicts and struggles that took place in Israel, in different contexts and fields - economy, employment, land and housing, education and more.
