Course description
The course covers the development of drama and theater in modern Arabic culture. The discussion focuses on the uniqueness of the genre, artists and works of prominent, mainstream, and unique stylistic and thematic features. The discussion will be accompanied by the reading and analysis of entire plays or segments of them, emphasizing stylistic and linguistic characteristics, uniqueness of the plays and their contribution to the development of the genre.
