D:\Inetpub\shared\yedion\syllabus\06\2016\0618\0618260101_desc.txt סילבוס מקוצר שיעור זה יוקדש להבנת מקומו של מושג החופש אצל מספר הוגים מרכזיים בעת החדשה. נרצה לבחון את הקשרים שבין חופש לבין מושגים מרכזיים אחרים בתחום המוסר כגון טבע, רצון ופעולה, חוק, חובה מוסרית, קהילה, אופי, חטא וגאולה. הבסיס לפיתוח שאלות אלה יהיה המרחב הנפתח בכתביו של קאנט. נקרא מתוך הנחת יסוד למטפיזיקה של המידות, ביקורת התבונה המעשית והדת בגבולות התבונה בלבד. בחלקו השני של השיעור נתמקד ביקורתו של הגל על קאנט ובהבהרת הקשר שבין חירות לבין החיים האתיים (נקרא בפנומנולוגיה של הרוח ובפילוסופיה של המשפט). חלקו השלישי של השיעור יתמקד בביקורת המוסר ובקשר שבין חירות והתעלות עצמית בגנאלוגיה של המוסר ומעבר לטוב ולרוע של פרידריך ניטשה. השיעור ילווה בתרגיל שיתמקד בקריאת בטקסטים של ההוגים שבהן נדון. ההשתפות בתרגיל חובה. הציון המסכם של השיעור יורכב ממומצע הציונים של העבודות במסגרת התרגיל ‪(40%)‬ ומבחן הכיתה המסכם של השיעור (60%). ‬ Course description The course will be devoted to elaborating the concept of freedom in central thinkers of the modern age. We shall consider the relationships between freedom and other central concepts in moral theory, such as nature, will, duty, community, character, sin and redemption. The basis for developing this problematic will be sought in the space opened in Kant’s writings. We shall read from Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals, The Critique of Practical Reason and Religion Within the Bounds of Reason Alone. The second part of the course will be devote to Hegel’s critique of Kant and to his elaboration of the internal relation between freedom and ethical life. Our readings will focus on parts of the Phenomenology of Spirit as well as the Philosophy of Right. The third part of the course will focus on the critique of morality and the relation between freedom and self-overcoming in Nietzsche's Genealogy of Morals and Beyond Good and Evil. The students registered for the course are required to take the section in which the texts of the philosophers we shall discuss will be read.The final grade will be calculated in terms of the grade for the section assignments (40%) as well that of the final in class exam for the course (60%).
