D:\Inetpub\shared\yedion\syllabus\14\2014\1411\1411652301_desc.txt סילבוס מקוצר *זנות וסחר בנשים בראי המשפט והחברה – גב' נעמי לבנקרון* סחר בבני אדם בעולם, כמו גם בישראל, נמצא במגמת עלייה מתמדת. קורבנותיו העיקריים הם מגזרים חלשים: תושבי מדינות מתפתחות, מיעוטים, ילדים ונשים, הנסחרים לרוב אל המדינות המפותחות. לסחר בבני אדם פנים רבות, אולם הביטוי אשר בו יתמקד הקורס הוא הסחר בנשים בתעשיית המין בישראל. במהלך הקורס נבחן את מדיניות הרשויות בישראל (הכנסת, משטרת ישראל, הפרקליטות, בתי המשפט ורשויות נוספות) כלפי הסחר בנשים ובהשלכותיה של מדיניות זו על קורבנות הסחר ועל התופעה בכללותה. הקורס נועד ליצור הכרות ראשונית עם עולם הזנות והסחר בנשים הן בהקשר המשפטי, והן בהקשר החברתי הרחב. נבדוק את יחסי הגומלין בין זנות, סחר בנשים ומשפט, ואת התפקיד שממלא ההליך השיפוטי בעיצוב התפיסות החברתיות הנוגעות לזנות ולסחר בנשים. כמו כן, נבדוק מיתוסים ומציאות בתחום זה במציאות הישראלית בת זמננו, תוך השוואה למצב הקיים בעולם. מרכיבי הציון: בחינה סופית 100%. אופן הבחינה: עם ספרים. Course description *Prostitution and Trafficking in Women from a Legal and Social Perspective – Ms Nomi Levenkron* The course introduces students to the world of prostitution and trafficking in women, and studies authorities’ attitudes as well as the broader social context on these topics. We will examine the interrelations between prostitution, trafficking in women, society and the authorities in shaping stances on prostitution and trafficking in women. As part of the course, we will familiarize ourselves with the key players – the women, the traffickers, the pimps and the clients – and the activities of different Israeli authorities involved: the Knesset, the Israel Police, the State Attorney’s Office, and the courts. We will examine the myths and the realities in the field manifested in contemporary Israeli society, and compare the local scene to the situation elsewhere in the world.
