כיצד מציגים הוגים עכשוויים את הקשר בין תפישת הרוע לתפיסה של המוסר? בקורס זה נכיר התמודדויות של נוצרים ויהודים עכשוויים עם רוע מוחלט. כיצד משקף מבנה האתיקה את החשיבה על הרוע? ומה קורה כאשר בונים את האתיקה על מושג הטוב? האם אפשר לזהות חשיבה יהודית בחיבור בין מוסר לתפיסת הרוע? מה מאפיין את הגותם של נוצרים בשאלות אלה? נתבונן הן בטקסטים שמתמקדים בהבנת האל והן בטקסטים שאינם מזכירים טרנסצנדנטיות כלשהי.
