מנקודת מבט מדעית שוררת בעולם החומרי חוקיות כימית פיסיקלית. סדר וארגון, עם סיבתיות מכאנית המסבירה כיצד כל דבר נובע מדבר או מצב שקדם לו. המדע מנסה לפתח תיאוריות בעלות כושר ניבוי משוכלל, ברמת וודאות גבוהה במידת האפשר. תחומי חיים נוספים נחקרים בחלקם ע"י גישות המדגישות היבטים פסיכולוגיים, או אנתרופולוגיים. גם גישות אלה לא מכסות את התחום כולו הכולל התייחסות לחוויה של החיים, למשמעותם ולתכליתם כפי שתופס אותם האדם. כבר נאמר, המדע יכול לחקור את החיים אך רק הפרט יכול לחוות אותם.

על מנת לחוות את חיינו כמסע של גילוי ומיצוי הפוטנציאל הייחודי שלנו בצורה המספקת ביותר, עלינו להכיר טוב יותר את חוקי היקום והקיום ואת הכלים המצויים ברשותנו המאפשרים לנו להתפתח בדרך שתיטיב עמנו. מופלא הוא שחוקי היקום והקיום המשתקפים בעקרונות הביוכימיים של תהליכים תאיים, מתאימים גם לעולם הרוח. בקורס נשלב ידע ממדעי החיים והרפואה עם ידע מעולם הרוח. נתייחס אל החיים מההיבט הביולוגי דרך העולם של מדעי הטבע ומההיבט של עולם הרוח וההתנהגות המתייחסים אל חווית החיים של האדם. נרחיב את זווית הראייה על המתקיים בעולם שלנו ברמת הגוף וברמה התאית תוך הקניית כלים ותובנות המאפשרים את הפיכת הידע למודעות.

 

מטרת הקורס:

1.הרחבת הידע התאורטי והמעשי על הקשר בין מערכות ביולוגיות לתפקוד הקוגניטיבי, הרגשי והחברתי של האדם

2. הסטודנט יכיר ויבין את המורכבות של תהליכי תפיסה ופרוש המציאות וחשיבות התודעה בהקשר זה.

3. הסטודנט יכיר ויבין את חשיבות התודעה בתפיסה ופירוש המציאות והשפעתה על בריאות ומחלה.

4. הסטודנט יכיר כלים של תודעה ואת האפשרות להיעזר בהם לקידום תהליכי התפתחות ,למידה וריפוי.

מטרה: הבנת זרימת אנרגיה וחומר במערכת ביולוגית.
