הקורס יוקדש לנובלות של היינריך פון קלייסט (1777-1811) – מיכאל קולהאס, המרקיזה פון או ועוד. במבוא נתוודע לרקע ההיסטורי ולעלייתה של הספרות הגרמנית בתקופתה הקלאסית והרומנטית בשלהי המאה ה-18, ונציג קריאות שונות ומגוונות למבחר מן הסיפורים.
Course description
The course is dedicated to the novellas of Heinrich von Kleist (1777-1811) – Michael Kohlhaas, the Marquise of O. etc. After introducing the historical background and the rise of German literature in its classical and romantic era at the end of the 18th century, we'll offer various readings of selected stories of Kleist.
