The course focuses on the importance of the strategic management process for an organization. The fundamental question this course will address is the variance in organizational performance. Why do some firms perform better than others? In this course, students will learn about this phenomenon and develop a a thorough understanding of the strategic approach, as well as refine their strategic thinking about the nature of competition among firms, their ability to build competitive advantages and sustain them.
