Course description

Elective course
1 cu

Today’s organizations present challenges that demand an increasing pace, volume, and complexity of organizational changes. Most organizations, whether they are entrepreneurial start-ups or long-established global corporations, find that they must not only change, but learn to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.
This course is designed to deepen students’ understanding of the challenges, roles, processes and best practices in leading major change in an organization. The objective is to prepare future managers to meet the challenges of organizational change successfully, and to effectively lead major change initiatives.

Sharon Moshayof is an expert in Change and Leadership, with 25+ years in the corporate world.  She has held senior executive positions in major global organizations in the Banking, IT and Pharmaceutical sectors. Sharon has worked in most major global markets (US/Canada, South Africa, Europe, Latin America, Turkey, Russia, India, Japan and China) as well as in Israel. Until recently Sharon was Executive Director and Talent Development Leader, Global Markets, at Merck, and is now an independent consultant. She teaches an MBA course in Global Change Leadership at Tel-Aviv University and a Masters’ degree course in International Human Resources at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya. Sharon holds an MSc in Organizational Behavior from the University of London, and is working on her doctorate in Organizational Change at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
