הקורס יתן ידע בסיסי אודות הכלים השונים בחקר המוח מנקודת המבט של הפסיכולוגיה הקוגניטיבית. בעוד שיודגשו מגבלות הכלים הנ"ל, תובלט התרומה הייחודית שלהם להבנת התיפקודים הקוגניטיביים ובעיקר להבנת התהליכים של קשב ומודעות חזותית.Course description
This course focuses on recent experimental research investigating visual consciousness. I will address the challenges related to defining and measuring conscious perception and its consequences for the evaluation of unconscious perception. I will survey the main theories of visual consciousness and review the key findings in this field (relying on both behavioral and brain studies). All lectures will be frontal.
