תיאור הקורס  

הקורס מורכב מסדרה של הרצאות אורחים העוסקות במגוון הדיסציפלינות המוצגות במוזיאונים. המרצים, כל אחד מומחה בתחומו, יציגו בפני התלמידים את ייחודם של המוזיאונים העוסקים בתחומי ידע שונים: מדע, אמנות, היסטוריה, וכד'. בנוסף, יעסוק הקורס בחוק המוזיאונים והשלכותיו, ויסקור את עבודתם של הארגונים המקצועיים הקשורים בעבודה במוזיאונים, כמו איגוד המוזיאונים (איקו"ם), ומחלקת המוזיאונים במשרד החינוך.

The course consists of a series of lectures by guest speakers, who will present the museums of various disciplines. The expert speakers will discuss the uniqueness of museums that specialize in variant fields of knowledge: science, art, history, etc. The course will also study the Israel Museum Act and its implications, and survey the role of organizations involved in museum work, such as the Israel Nation Committee of ICOM, and the Department of Museums and Visual Art in the Ministry of Culture and Sport.
