The purpose of the course is to provide tools for future planning through familiarity with and understanding of a number of essential components of the building. This course teaches the practice of combining materials in different building parts. We will use as case studies the building envelope (walls, windows, roof) and stairs, and will complete a detailed analysis of each element by 2-D and 3-D drawings.
