This course is an introduction to the courses in the field of science, engineering and technology in architectural studies. Its main target is to give the students, from the early stages of the architectural studies, an integrative and overall knowledge of systems in addition to basic tools in the field of science, engineering and technology. The course focuses on the possibilities to integrate aspects of science, engineering and technology beside artistic and aesthetic aspects, as an indispensable part of the architectural creation. Because of the wide span of the course, part of it will focus on one or more specific areas of study.
