תאור הקורס

כשאומרים "בלט קלאסי" או "מחול מודרני" עולות תמונות ברורות למדי של צורות ריקוד, לעומת זה "מחול עכשווי" מעלה בליל דימויים של סגנונות וצורות ריקוד. אלה משקפים את 'הגבולות הנעים' של המחול העכשווי, וזה המאפיין הבולט של השינויים העמוקים שעבר עולם הריקוד בעשורים האחרונים של המאה הקודמת. יוצרי מחול עכשווי פרצו את כל גבולות ההגדרה, ההבנה, העיצוב וההפעלה של הריקוד והגופים המחוללים כאמצעי להתבוננות ולביקורת על איכויות המחול ועל ערכים תרבותיים. בסמינר נתמקד במגמה בולטת זו של המחול העכשווי ונבחן את מגוון צורותיו ואת ריבוי הדרכים בהן הוא מתייחס לסוגיות חברתיות ותרבותיות.

תאור הקורס באנגלית  

The terms "classical ballet" or "modern dance" conjure pretty clear pictures of dance forms, while "contemporary dance" evokes a maze of images, reflecting the 'moving boundaries' of contemporary dance, which is a key trait of the vital changes dance practices have undergone since the closing decades of the last century. By breaking established dance forms, contemporary dance practitioners have continually altered and re-created the dancing bodies and their dance expressions, as a means to look at and criticize dance qualities and cultural values. In the seminar we will focus on this key trait of contemporary dance with the aim to study its various manifestations and the diverse ways it relates to socio-cultural issues.

הבחירה בנושא העבודה הסמינריונית/רפרט היא אישית ופתוחה למגוון אפשרויות של חציית גבולות ו"גבולות נעים" במחול או באמנות העכשווית (תיאטרון, אמנות פלסטית, קולנוע...).

10% השתתפות פעילה; 10% הצגת רפרט בעל-פה
