הכרה ושליטה מושלמת בא"ב הבינלאומי ככלי להיגוי נכון בשירה בשפה הגרמנית. הסטודנטים ילמדו את הסמלים השונים של הא"ב הבינלאומי ויתרגלו הכתבות והקראות, שיכללו שימוש נכון בסמלים והיגוי ראוי ומדויק בשפה הגרמנית.
Acquaintance with and total command of the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) as an instrument for achieving correct pronunciation in singing the German language. The students will learn the IPA symbols, and will practice their correct use in reading, writing and dictation exercises aimed at perfecting faultless and exact diction in the German language.

The course introduces the fundamentals of German diction for singers and choral conductors. Special attention is given to the application of the German language in musical contexts. Studies are held in small groups of 8-10 students. The students will learn the various symbols of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and will practice dictations and readings that will include proper use of symbols and accurate diction in the German language.

מרכיבי הציון הסופי
%50 בחינה מסכמת, 10% הגשת תרגילים, %40 השתתפות פעילה בכיתה.
בחינה
הבחינה והבחנים יכללו טקסטים שונים בגרמנית שעל התלמידים לכותבם בא"ב בינלאומי (הכרת והתאמת הסימנים השונים לטקסט הנתון), כמו כן ידרשו התלמידים להקריא טקסטים בהיגוי הנכון והמדויק.

Course description
The course introduces the fundamentals of German diction for singers and choral conductors. Special attention is given to the application of the German language in musical contexts. Studies are held in small groups of 8-10 students. The students will learn the various symbols of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and will practice dictations and readings that will include proper use of symbols and accurate diction in the German language.
Course requirements
Full attendance and active participation in class, reading, dictations, exam.
Texts will be provided by the lecturer and their selection will be adjusted to the level of the class and students.
Course grade
Final exam - 50%
Submission of exercises - 10%
Full attendance and active participation in class - 40%
