The purpose of this course is to introduce academic writing, with a focus on the rationale, structure, and requirements needed for writing an academic paper. The course is based on reading various kinds of academic papers in English during the course and analyzing them from an academic writing point of view, as well as writing short argumentative essays. Class work will be done as individuals or in pairs.
