D:\Inetpub\shared\yedion\syllabus\08\2015\0821\0821162001_desc.txt סילבוס מקוצר השיעור הינו מבוא לתולדות האמנות הישראלית במאה שנים האחרונות במדיום הציור, הפיסול והצילום. בנוסף להכרות עם זרמים, תערוכות ואמנים מרכזיים, יושם דגש מיוחד על מאפייניו וייחודו של תחום מחקר זה המעלה שאלות ותובנות הקשורות להיסטוריה והגאו-פוליטיקה של המקום הספציפי, לעיצוב והבניה אידיאולוגית של זהויות שונות, ולדיאלוג עם מרכזי אמנות ותרבות בעולם. במהלך הסימסטר נערוך סקירה כרונולוגית מסוף המאה ה-19 ועד שנות השיבעים, שתצביע על התפתחותן של מגמות אמנותיות ושנויים המאפיינים את התגבשותה של האמנות המקומית. השיעורים האחרונים של הקורס יוקדשו למצב האמנות הישראלית העכשוית, תוך דיון בנושאי חתך מרכזיים שהתהוו במהלך שלושת העשורים האחרונים כגון הסיכסוך הישראלי פלסטיני, זיכרון השואה, פוליטיקה של זהויות, אקולוגיה וגלובליזציה. Course description This class is a survey on the formation of Israeli art in the last hundred years; focus on painting, sculpture and photography created in Israel by Israeli artists. In addition to the introduction to major art movements, artists and central exhibitions, we will emphasis on specific issues that characterize the relation between the Place and the Art in it: local history and geo-politic, construction of ideology and identity, and influences from the outside. Therefore, we will follow closely the chronology of changes and developments in the local art field from the end of the 19^th century until 1970s. Course description

This class is a survey on the formation of Israeli art in the last hundred years; focus on painting, sculpture and photography created in Israel by Israeli artists.
