D:\Inetpub\shared\yedion\syllabus\08\2013\0811\0811229001_desc.txt סילבוס מקוצר התאטרון הקהילתי בישראל צמח כביטוי למצוקה של קבוצה גדולה באוכלוסיה שכונתה בשנות ה 70 של המאה ה 20 - "ישראל השנייה". זהו תאטרון שהשתייך לז'אנר "תאטרון מחאה "עוד טרם הגדרתו ככזה ושהביע צורך לזעוק את זעקת המדוכאים ולפעול לשינוי חברתי ושוויון תרבותי ואזרחי. התפרצות התיאטרון החברתי - אקטיביסטי בישראל מקבילה לזו של קבוצות מודרות בארה"ב שקמו על רקע האפליה שבין לבנים לשחורים והיספאנים בארה"ב. הקורס יתחקה אחר שורשי התאטרון האקטיביסטי, יציג דוגמאות מהקאנון הישראלי והעולמי, ישאל שאלות ביחס לאמצעי ההבעה האסתטיים-צורניים והתוכניים ויציג את האסתטיקה האומנותית האוטנטית ככלי רב משמעות לאקטיביזם (הנעה) קהילתית. הקורס ישלב עיון אקדמי, צפייה וקריאה של טקסטים ופעילות התנסותית להמחשת הדינאמיקה והדיאלוג שבכוחו של התאטרון לייצר. Course description Community Based Theatre in Israel erupted in the 1970's as an authentic expression of the stress felt by a large section of society labeled "The second Israel". The spontaneous genre sprung up parallel to protest theatre groups in the USA, which formed as a reaction to prejudice between the white majority and the Black and Hispanic minorities. The class will look at the roots of activist theatre, present examples from the Israeli and world repertoire, question the means of expression used in community-activist theatre and posit the authentic expressive communal-non political performance, as a powerful tool for solidarity building and community activation.
