The course constitutes a supportive and complementary academic framework for the production in the context of the University Theatre. The participants include all the actors in the production, and the entire array of students in charge of the production’s various artistic and technical tasks, as well as the major creators of the production. The course follows the production process and analyzes it. In its framework we shall discuss major production aspects such as: Dramaturgy, Interpretation, Conception, Directing, Design, contextual elements connected with the production, Actors’ Instruction, Marketing, Selling, PR work, advertising, etc. The course will also assign the students to specific production jobs according to their inclinations. In contrast to the first, theoretical part, the second part will be dedicated to practical instruction by specialists.
