קורס זה סוקר תחנות מרכזיות בצמיחתו של תיאטרון רדיקלי במאה ה-20 - תיאטרון שביקש להשפיע ולשנות את פני המציאות והחברה - למן האוונגרד של ראשית המאה ועד לתיאטרונים האלטרנטיביים בארה"ב בשנות ה-60. נסיים בשאלה, מדוע נעלם התיאטרון הרדיקלי?

This course surveys key stages in the evolution of radical theatre in the twentieth century: from the historical avant-garde to the alternative manifestations of theatre in the 1960s in the USA. We will end up by asking: why radical theatre has disappeared?
