In recent years, migration has become an important phenomenon which has a major global impact. In China, it is estimated that the number of people who migrate from the villages to the cities is between 140-220 million. The course will address economic, political and social aspects of migration in China, with an emphasis on the relationship between migration and dreams, aspirations and yearnings of the individual.
