סמינר לתלמידים מתקדמים, בעלי הכרות קודמת עם סוגיות יסוד בתיאוריה הפסיכואנליטית בהקשר של מחקר תרבו,. הסמינר יציג מודלים של ביקורת ספרות פסיכואנליטית, תוך מיקוד במושג המאוים (ה"אלביתי" על פי התרגום החדש של מאמרו של פרויד לעברית). נקרא מאמרים המפתחים את מושג המאוים בכיוונים שונים (Abraham & Torok, Royl, Vidler ואחרים), ונדון בביצועיו ביצירות ספרות.
Course description
An advanced seminar, offered for graduate students with previous acquaintance with psychoanalytic theory within the domain of cultural studies. The seminar will focus on the concept of the uncanny in psychoanalysis and in literature. Seminar meetings will be arranged around readings of prominent Freudian and post-Freudian writings (including the new translation of Freud's "Uncanny" to Hebrew), and of literary texts in which the uncanny is represented and performed.
