השעור ממשיך את הקריאה ביצירות המופת של המערב מסרוונטס ודרך עליתו של הרומן וקולות הנשים בספרות. השעור יעסוק בהכרות עם יצירות מרכזיות במסורת כפי שהיא מתפתחת מדון קיחוטה דרך ג'יין אוסטין, דוסטוייבסקי ועד ראשית המאה העשרים. נקודת הסיום היא בין מלחמות העולם בדרך אל המגדלור של וולף העומד להתגלות כעמוד עשן.
Course description
The course continues reading the great books of the western tradition after Cervantes through the rise of the novel and female voices. We will get to know some of the major works of the time from Don Quixote through Jane Austin to the early twentieth century and Virginia Wolf’s Lighthouse.
