Short Course Description
This seminar is primarily intended for third-year undergraduate students, who have already completed introductory courses in operations research, stochastic models, and algorithm design.
In this particular semester, we will focus on optimization methods and analytical ideas residing within the intersection of operations research, revenue management, and (possibly) econometric. Students will be expected to undertake an independent mini-project, consisting of:
(1) Approaching one or more related papers.
(2) Preparing a technical presentation of the topic in question.
(3) Giving a detailed seminar talk.
