The aim of the course is to provide students with basic academic skills in scientific reading and writing. The course will include familiarity with different genres of scientific writing, the building blocks of scientific writing (arguments, paragraphs, quotations, etc.), reliance on scientific sources, searching sources in databases, use of references and bibliography management. In addition, the course will acquire skills in presenting scientific material as an article, poster and scientific lecture at the conference. Each student will choose a scientific topic for which he will work throughout the semester, and will perform assignments of writing exercises, presentation of a scientific poster and lecture. The grade of the course will be constructed from the composition of these assignments
