1 Semester Unit 

Course highlights include:

• Students will glean practical knowledge and experience through engaging with hand-selected Harvard Business School case studies on venture capital fundraising as well as guest speakers from "both sides of the table"
• The course explores the growing forms of entrepreneurial finance
• Students will develop start-up valuation techniques and negotiating strategies
• Students will learn to assess the “pros” and “cons” of debt and equity financing over the course of starting a business
• The week will culminate with students developing an investment proposal that details their funding strategy, valuation and deal terms
