Topics:
The course is a series of talks of one academic hour, given by the core members of the Materials Science and Engineering department (general description of their research topics) as well as by members from leading industrial partners in the field.
Topics to be covered: Nanomaterials and nanoscience, biomaterials and biomedicine, materials for renewable energy, materials and aeronautics and space, electronic materials and thin films, optic and magnetic materials, advanced materials characterization methods, corrosion, coatings, mechanical behavior of materials, etc.
Grade: No examination. Every student will prepare a final project on a relevant topic of his/her interest.
