Introduction: The Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) laboratory course introduces students to the main aspects of modern computerized design and manufacturing technology. The course combines lectures and practical laboratories with a strong experimental emphasis.

2. Design Theory
3. Robotics: Control, manual manipulation and Programming
4. Introduction to Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided
Manufacturing (CAM)
5. Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP)
6. Introduction to CNC processes
7. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): concepts and programming
8. Introduction to Computerized Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
9. Sensors and Vision Systems
10. Virtual Reality and Work cell Simulators
11. CIM Control and Communication
