Structure of machines and its classification. Kinematic analysis of machines using graphic, analytical and experimental methods. Elements of kinematic synthesis of machines and mechanisms. Cog wheels. Epicyclic, differential and planetary gears. Inertial forces and kinemato-static calculation of machines. Friction in mechanisms. Work and power enhancement. Efficiency of machines and mechanisms, instability of machine motion.
