Short Course Description

The purpose of this course is to help students become more proficient communicators in today's global world, particularly in areas related to the field of history. The course focuses on writing and speaking in academic English. Topics to be covered include, amongst others, summarizing and evaluating academic research, presenting one's academic goals, writing academic papers and essays, and giving oral presentations.
