מטרת הקורס הינה להקנות כלים, להבנת מושגי יסוד בתאוריה הכלכלית בחשבונאות הפיננסית והניהולית וכן לעורר מודעות אצל הסטודנט לגורמים המשפיעים על קבלת ההחלטות בנושאים הנ"ל.
נושאים ספציפיים כוללים: מושגי יסוד בכלכלה, ערך הזמן של כסף, חישובי כדאיות, אינפלציה, החלפת ציוד, מושגי יסוד בחשבונאות פיננסית, תמחיר תקצוב ובקרה.

The objective of the course is to provide tools for the understanding of the basic ideas of economic theory in financial and management accounting and to arouse the student awareness to the factors that influence decision reaching on these subjects.
Specific subjects include: basic theories in Economics, the fiscal value of time, feasibility studies, inflation, replacement of equipment, budgeting, costing and control.
