Perquisites: Electronics Laboratory (2), Digital Electronic circuits 05124513.
The objective of this laboratory is two-fold: 1. to design and build fundamental digital electronic circuits and perform rigorous experiments to consolidate basic knowledge in digital electronics; 2. provide the student with the know-how required to use modern electronic instrumentation.
Laboratory modules: basic integrated circuits; counters; decoders; multiplexers and de-multiplexers; bi-stable, mono-stable and a-stable circuits; shift registers; memory components; A/D and D/A converters. In addition, an FPGA project is carried out to consolidate basic knowledge acquired during the lab meetings.
